RECREATIONAL AND INDUSTRIAL COATINGS

ASTEK LVB is used as a cold applied resurfacing compound for sealing and smoothing bituminous surfaces.

LVB may also be used as patching material when used as a mixture with sand and cement.

ASTEK VG Recreational Color Coat produces a tough, durable, and flexible playing surfaces resistant to U.V. rays. VG also protects surfaces from the elements and resists hydro-carbons and alkalis.

APPLICATION

LVB is diluted with water, mixed with sand and applied to cover up all the small holes and cracks on the pavement. This product is applied by squeegee at a rate of 1-1.25kg per square meter.

MIX DESIGN

ASTEK LVB shall be used at 14-35 degrees Celsius and should not be applied when rain is expected. The material should not be stored under direct sun light.

ASTEK LVB, is specially produced for ASTEK in the U.S.A. and designed to meet all the requirement for sports playing surfaces. LVB has a wide reference list of being used on many tennis courts and playing grounds.

AREAS USED

APPLICATION

Astek VG can be used in two or three layers depending on the surface conditions. First two layers shall be used to fill up the small holes and the third layer shall be the finish coat. The first layer shall be applied lengthwise and the second or the last layer should be applied breadthways. The application shall be done using a proper squeegee or a spray system.

Filling Layer: 1m2= 0.3lt.

Finish Coat: 1m2= 0.15lt.
